The Building Permits and Inspections Department is committed to supporting your construction project in an efficient, transparent, and accountable manner. The department oversees all construction permitting and inspections and is responsible for issuing Certificates of Occupancy, Fire Prevention permits, and Special Event permits.

The Building Permits and Inspections Department is responsible for:

• Issuing residential and commercial building permits

• Conducting building and setback inspections

• Reviewing construction and building plans

• Issuing Certificates of Occupancy

• Ensuring compliance with adopted building codes
